The little known actor Charley Boorman was Born on Aug 23 1966 Son of director John Boorman. Spending his childhood in Ireland. He made his on screen debut in his fathers film Deliverence as Jon Voight's son and has been in 2 dozen movies including Excalibur, Hope and Glory and Karaoke but is best known for his portrayal of Tomme in the film The Emerald forest.

Until recently he had gone unoticed although acting since he was the tender age of 6. While on the set of the movie The Serpents Kiss in 1997 he met and instantly became friends with Trainspotting and Star Wars Star Ewan Mcgregor with whom he shared an obsession of motorcycles.

From 1998 to 2002 Charley and Ewan ran a British motocycle team that went on to win the Superstock Series

In 2004 they embarked on a 20,000 mile bike trip from London to New York Traveling thru 12 countries Europe, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Russia. Currently Charley resides in London England with his wife and 2 daughters.
This is a movie I recently saw it was directed by Charleys Father John Boorman. It is an excellent movie but I won't go into details except to say that Charley makes an appearance in it.
He playes a british reporter named adam Adam Hartley although a small part you see him quite a bit on screen.
